Dart Coon Club - farewell tea-party would be held on April 15th. Consul General Lai of Van released an announcement from the External Affairs Department stating that permits had to be applied if returning Chinese wanted to bring in things over $500 U.S. Freemason Calgary - description of the convention. Freemason Dart Coon, New Westminster - farewell on April 13 for the secretary. Freemason Hamilton - chairman died recently (Mr. Lee Fu ). Hoysun H.Q. Victoria - an emergency meeting was called on April 13 re: the confused money exchange system in the Banks in Hoysun. Requests were to be sent to the Central Govern mentfor better supervision. B.C. Native Association - Nanaimo - held a general convention on April 19 whereby they decided to protest the amendment of immigration law. They were against Chinese immigration into Canada. Lim Cee Ho Gow Mock Benevolent Association - would hold a celebration on May 4. All Lim's members were welcomed. Gifts, donations, and greetings were welcomed. CBA Victoria - new executives assumed their offices on April 12th.
