April 19P.3 1) The neighbourhood, Commercial and labour representation welcomed ,principal of the Piu Ching School. (Wong) was in Vancouver raising funds for the school extension. A banquet was held; , ofCBA, Consul General Yip, and Consul Sun all participated. There were rep- resentatives from various Chinese schools, labourers and commercial representat- ives. They raised $3700 at the banquet. A committee was set up so funds could be mailed back to China.
