March 14, FridayP.3 A continuation of the court hearing of4P.3 2. A meeting was held by the Returning Soldier's United Association( ) to exclude East Asian workers. They hopedthat the Canadian government would prohibit the East Asians from gaining entryinto Canada. They suggested that the steamliners operating in the Pacific fireall the East Asian crewmen and replace them with returning soldiers. They evensuggested that members not buy any goods from China. Finally they demanded theprohibition of East Asian students from finding jobs for 20 years when they wereresiding in Canada
