April 8, Tues.- P.2 The Vancouver Public Health Service had sent out a team to investigate thesanitary conditions in Chinatown. Wherever they found disqualified and non- hygienic areas, they demanded modification within a limited time period. There had been already 20 places found to be dissatisfactory due to bad ventilation, poor lighting and over-lodging.
