September 4P3 1) The Anti-School Segregation Assoc. (Vic.) wrote to the branch assoc. in Van on Sept. 1, saying that their struggle had finally ended because the Educ. Dept. agreed to revise the segregation policy. Those Chinese students who were previously studying in the public schools could go back. But all grade 1 and 2 Chinese students had to go to a special school. They, however, could be referred to the public schools if they had satisfactory standards.
