The C.B.A. in Vancouver announced that there would be an election for advisorson March 18th, 1917 in the agricultural and commercial departments in Peking.&. * $ on Dec* 19th» 1916 The C.B.A. had already appointed 'f? \ fy Ml /who was the delegate fromSan Francisco as their delegate in the election for Advisor in Peking. The C.B.A. hoped that the various Chinese public organizations would give a vote. (The organizations were the C.B.A., the Chamber of Commerce, the reading rooms and other organizations). (The Advisory board in Peking would have 1/3 of the Overseas Chinese advisors changed every 2 years.) P.32. A report of the minutes on the 22nd C.B.A. meeting on Feb. 6th.
