News from Other Cities 1.Chicago: A Chinese laundryman was asked by a Jewish if he would be a package off from him because he was short of money. The Chinese bought the package & tried to sell it to someone else. The buyer, also a Jew, said that he did not have enough cash. So he made a deposit & took away part of the material from the package. When the Chinese when to his address to collect the rest of the money, he found that it was a false address. 2.Victoria: 3 Japanese wood collectors prosecuted 2 Chinese collectors. The lawyers of both sides started a long argument in court and the judge ordered the case to be postponed.
