The Labour Party leader had planned to boycott the Chinese restaurant workers by enforcing the minimum wage regulation. There had been the threat of the restaurant business being taken over by Chinese. A Chinese was charged for operating a gambling joint. CKT (Winnipeg) welcomed Lo Siu Pak on Dec. 2.
