January 24 P.2 1) The Public Health department gave a report on condition in Chinatown. Thechief claimed that Chinatown had improved quite alot; and most of the residentialareas were clean, however there were still some residents living too near to thekitchens. He proposed that he would suggest a minimum area to be set aside foreach resident in the house, the new construction regulation. P.3 2) There were more Chinese Vegetable hawkers applying for licenses. There were atotal of 83 applicants. The department received $1050 in fees. 3) CKT Medicine Hat: held admission ceremony during which the new executivesalso assumed offices.
