February 7P.2 1) The B.C. Chamber of Commerce elected a cttee to do a sketch re E. Asian immigra- tion issue. The minutes had already been handed in to Chamber, the content was to urge the Canadian government to deal with the present situation; to send an investigation team to study the conditions so that E. Asians or foreigners of bad references would be excluded from ownership of land. The minutes was seconded by all reps. The Japanese Consul had already sent a protest to the president of Chambe of Commerce.P.2-7 2) Hoysun Association Van. - announced on Feb. 6 that a meeting with reps, from H.Q. had been held to select the members at large for the establishment of the secondary school in Hoysun . However, due to the importance of the issue, another general meeting would be held on Feb. 7 in CBA when a detailed procedure for the school set-up would be discussed. Also different duties and posts would be assigned to the members at large. 3) Dart Coon Club Calgary: the opening ceremony was on Feb. 2 when there werea few hundred guests attending. Speeches were made by guests, e.g. whorepresented CK H.Q. and Dart Coon H.Q. represented CKT and Dart Coonclub in Van.; of CKT in ; of CKT in Lethbridge;There were also reps, from , Wong Kong Har Tong, ,,, Chee Duck Tong, etc. in Calgary
