March 18p.2 1) Hoysun Association Van. announced on March 18 that the executives of the Vic.Hoysun Association would be in Van. on March 20 to discuss the school establish- ment with the Hoysun members. A general meeting would be held on March 20 in CBA so that all proposals could be amended and exercised.p.3 2) a Japanese reported to the police that he had lost $200 in a gambling joint in Chinatown, but when the police went to search the house, there was no ev- idence of gambling. It was speculated that the Japanese was tying to frame the Chinese due to degenerating friendship between the 2 countries. 3) A Kai-district member thanked Consul General Yip because he was able to collect $1000 insurance fund for his dead brother even though his lawyer was unable to do it
