The reason for the meeting was that many shingle factories were cutting off workers and decreasing the wages of the Chinese workers. Recently he was charged with possession of ammunition and opium.6) CKT Victoria - the H.Q. was rquested by a resident in Nanaimo to fetch a Mr. Fung, a get-a-way, who owed him a large sum of money. The H.Q. thus hoped that all branches would help to find Fung or persuade him to go back to Nanaimo.7) CKT Kelowna - a name list of donors for the anniversary
