Chinatown - the public health dept. set up a strict regulation demanding cleaner butchering and grocery stoes. The floor of the meat shopshad to be cemented so that washing could be done every night. Chopping boards should be very clean and refrigerators were also encouraged.4) Some Chinese who arrived at Van. on Czarina were transferred to the E.
