June 26Pi 1) Wong Kong Har long - Realty Department announced that an election for new executives would be held on July 22. All shareholders would have the right to vote and be nominated. However, due to the tremendous numbers of share- holders over Canada, the executives had to be chosen from the residents in Vancouver. Investigation had been made and it was found that a number of Chinese students were now detained in the immigration office and they would soon be released if the law that permitted students from coming into Canada was enforced.
