MARCH 3 (Monday)P.3 1) CBA (Vancouver), called for a general meeting to discuss how to helpGeneral Hospital to raise funds. The method was to join the life insurance plan sponsored by the Hospital. The money should be paid by installments. In case of death or completion of money payment, the Hospital would get all the money. It was known that the Japanese Canadians had been very enthusiastic in joining such plans. The Chinese were urged to give a hand to the General Hospital to wjom they were indebted $18,000.P.3 2) Ti Shing Shon Yee Association (Bancouver). In reply to the request toCBA about raising funds for General Hospital, a meeting was held on March 2. 2 representatives were chosen to attend the general meeting held by CBA.
