June 28th, WednesdayP. 3 Due to the appeals by the Japanese and Chinese Ambassadors, anextra-ordinary meeting was held by the Annual License Committee*to discuss the exclusion act. With the help and protest of the Ambassadors from Switzerland and the States, the City Council had to cancel the exclusion law passed on June 21st.
