July 19th, WednesdayP. 3 (1) The C.8.A. in Vancouver announced on July 17th that the association was dependent upon the donations from the Chinese companies and stores. Originally, there were two recruitments of donations per year to strengthen the financial situation of the association. However, due to the inefficiency of last year's executive members, the associationfailed to collect any funds from the Chinese companies or stores.o**J«A Recently, the association was in debt. It owned more than $800land tax in addition to various unpaid accounts. If the C.B.A. did not clear up these debts, she would become badly reputed.The meeting for the new executives on July 15th decided that representatives should go from door to door to collect donations. Also those who registered to donate for the hospital should give in the money before July 22nd. The fund collected was to clear up the debt, and the remaining money would be for welfare for the community
