Feb. 6th, lues. P.31. The issue about discrimination of East Asian workers was again brought up in the Labour Union's meeting. The whites said that the standard of living among the East Asians was extremely low and usually they earned more than the whites because they were willing to do any job. Thus, there was the suggestion of uniting all white labour unions and exclude East Asians. Finally they said that the East Asians could not be treated equally with the whites no matter whether they were educated or not
